Dr. Snyder began her career in the liberal arts, earning her Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Illinois at Chicago, followed by a Master’s degree in film and video from The American University in Washington, DC. After completing her Ph.D., she taught English and English as a Second Language for several years before embarking on a new career in veterinary medicine.

In her spare time, Dr. Snyder enjoys traveling, fiber arts (knitting, crochet, tatting, and spinning), and spending time in local cafes.
