Payment Options
Taking the stress out of veterinary care
If your pet is treated as an outpatient at ACES, payment is required in full for all services provided. ACES accepts cash and credit card payments. ACES does not offer payment plans, but we do work with Scratchpay and Care Credit – which offer varying plans for short-term credit for those who qualify.
Payment Policy
If your pet is admitted to the hospital, you will need to leave a deposit. The doctor will discuss treatment options with you, and provide a detailed cost estimate for the treatment you agree on. The estimate is typically a range depending on the duration of hospitalization and the treatments your pet needs while hospitalized.
Deposit Policy
The deposit required is on the low end of this estimate. Deposits can be made using cash, credit card, or credit plan through Care Credit or Scratchpay.

Pet Insurance Options
We highly recommend Trupanion, as it covers unexpected emergencies and Illnesses. Others to consider are Healthypaws, Embrace, Figo and Petsbest.
It’s always a good idea to do your homework prior to signing up for a plan and, as you make up your mind, consider the following questions:
- Is there a physical exam required to get coverage?
- What percentage of the bill does the company pay after the deductible?
- Are there co-pays?
- Does the plan cover pre-existing conditions and recurring medical problems?
- Can you choose any veterinarian or animal hospital?
- Are prescription drugs covered?
- Does the policy pay if your pet is being treated and dies?
