Relief and full-time emergency veterinarian positions open for growing 24-hour emergency, critical care, and specialty facility.

Animal Care and Emergency Services (ACES), Inc., the only 24-hour emergency and critical care hospital in San Francisco, is looking for Emergency and Critical Care veterinarians to join our independently owned emergency and specialty center, which opened in November 2021.

Our ideal candidate is interested in learning, compassionate, and looking to be a part of a dynamic team practicing top-notch medicine. Mentorship is available, but preference will be given to candidates who either are internship trained or have two years’ clinical experience in an emergency and specialty facility. The position will include a combination of days, swings, overnight shifts, and weekends. Our schedule is flexible in order to ensure you enjoy a good quality of life and sufficient time away from work.

ACES is looking for someone to join our collaborative team of residency-trained and board-certified veterinarians in emergency and critical care and anesthesiology. We are open to discussing aerocommuting potential with the right candidate. Our full-time doctors work ten shifts per calendar month in exchange for a competitive salary and full-time benefits.

ACES has everything you could ask for: quite possibly the best clients anywhere; full diagnostic and therapeutic tools including digital radiology, endoscopy, ultrasound, in-house reference laboratory; and 24-hour support from specialists. Our technicians, support staff, and administrators gladly assist in patient and client care.

At ACES, we focus on providing exceptional medicine to our patients, compassion to our clients, and a respectful, healthy work-life balance for our team.

Life is too short to be unhappy where you work! Our benefits include competitive salary, signing bonus, 401K and benefits (health insurance, CE stipend, paid time off, and more) for full-time, or per diem for relief doctors.

Please reach out to falvarez@aces-bayarea.com if interested in working with us!
