Bay Area pets deserve excellent, compassionate emergency care, and we are happy to provide this service to our community. Because pet illnesses and injuries don’t follow a 9-to-5 schedule, having a round-the-clock team ready to jump into action ensures your pet will be taken care of at any time. Whether your family veterinarian is unavailable, or the situation is serious, we are open 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
What To Expect
Upon arrival, your pet will be immediately assessed to determine the severity of their condition. If necessary, they will be stabilized with medications, oxygen, intravenous fluids, and other treatments. Once their condition is stable, we can perform diagnostic testing to more thoroughly evaluate their condition, and provide you with a treatment plan.
Our emergency veterinarians work closely with our board-certified critical care veterinarians, and are prepared to treat any type of injury or illness your pet gets themselves into. After being treated by our emergency team, your pet’s care may be transferred to our critical care or internal medicine departments for ongoing treatment and monitoring.
